This was an amazing video! It really made me think about what Gods has called me to do during this retirement phase if my life. You both are such an inspiration!
Confidence has been a huge issue for me. Growing up so shy that it was painful and having a feeling of dumb, ugly and afraid of people, especially men. You’ve brought up many areas that has brought back memories. When I look back over the years, I can see that I’ve come a long way! I still have quite a way to go. I was always afraid of what others would think of me. Thank you ladies. Praying for a purpose driven life in Christ!!
Confidence…..I’ve always felt like I’ve been a pretty confident woman…but when you mentioned body image, that is where I have a real lack of confidence. I hide behind clothes and I tend to try not to look at my body, will only look at my face in mirrors….because I don’t like the body part..I avoid looking at it…so I’m going to start building some blocks in that area… Gifts—thank you for the questions to help discover! I have a pretty good idea of my gifts but I’m in a season of change so I’m trying to discover how God is going to use them in a different way….so these are good questions to ponder!!! Thanks for using your gifts to be a blessing to many today!!
Great job being aware of your gifts and looking to discover more about how God can use you right now! Remember, we all go through different phases so your season of change is OK!
Excellent and well presented info as always girls! I love your teaching. What I love even more is that it comes straight from the Word of God. Thank you!
Thanks for the awesome first session! I really needed it. I do already have a lot of confidence in many areas, but then, I lack confidence in other areas. And the verse convicted me because I have not been loving my neighbor as myself. But I do choose to love my neighbor as myself, from this day forward!
Thank you so much for these affirming reminders! I can look over the years of my life and see the building blocks that God provided for me to overcome shyness and feelings of neglect. I can see the steps he used to build my confidence little by little as you have described. Also your video has solidly affirmed direction that I should take in serving God in a new way.
I totally relate Kayce. Ive thought someone may relate me 2 another person. Im soo nervous about getting out there. I need prayer I can do this. Having Confidence in myself. The clothes I have 2 choose from at my age Barb Lawver
Knowing that you need to take an honest look at yourself is the first step! Great job. It’s not always easy, but this journey will definitely be worth it 🙂
Great ideas and a lot to think about. How we live, what and why,….our confidence is so important and it is necessary to live happy, successful life. If we are not, confident in what we do and how we live, we have to built it, using our strengths and small steps….with God’s help we will be successful !
I thoroughly enjoyed the video. Indeed, I do feel defeat in only a couple areas of my life. But, I am confident those feelings will leave as I gain confidence to overcome. So very thankful for the two of you and this group. I am not alone! I look forward to tomorrow's video and what I will learn! God bless you both!
Thanks for sharing, Maria! Yes, with God in the journey with you, you will start to gain confidence and overcome those areas of feeling defeated! Great work 🙂
Thank you for presenting this information and sharing the scripture. I never have thought about loving myself in order to better love my neighbor. This is powerful!
I think we're often way too concerned about what others think of us. If we weren't so concerned about this, we'd likely have more confidence in ourselves!
Hi, I'm 64 years old and have lost weight about 3 or 4 times before. I've been on a diet practically all my life. But I always gain the weight back plus more. I have been on Weight Watchers off and on . I am on it now. But I haven't lost any weight and now they are doing away with all of the classes around here. I want to get this weight off so bad. I'm 5'3 and weight 220 lbs. One thing that I have been concerned about is, I do not eat vegetables for breakfast. Breakfast foods are my favorite and I don't want no onions, tomatoes or anything else like that mixed in my eggs n cheese. Can you help me to know what to eat?
Overall, we teach moderation in all foods. But if you want our full weight loss plan, you can check it out at https://www.10dayweighdown.com for more info!

Thanks for your encouragement, Rhonda. Yes, retirement can be a big change, but God always has a purpose for us in every phase of life 🙂

Way to go, Michelle! This is awesome to hear 🙂
Looking forward to being revived…
I’ve been struggling but I’m not giving up!
Remember, it’s one building block at a time. Build that foundation strong so that even in times of struggle, you have the foundation in place 🙂
Thank you so much for these affirming reminders! I can look over the years of my life and see the building blocks that God provided for me to overcome shyness and feelings of neglect. I can see the steps he used to build my confidence little by little as you have described.

That’s great, Lynnea! We are so happy that this video affirmed your direction 🙂
Thank you for this workshop and the excellent presentation in this video. The four questions are surely good to help me focus.
We’re glad you liked it, Marcia! See you on the live to discuss it further!

You can do this, and we will be praying for you! Remember that you are a woman chosen for greatness and we believe in you!
Definitely food for thought? I know I lack confidence in some areas for all three areas.
It’s better than it was, when God wants you to do something he won’t let you go easily.
I need to take an honest look at myself.

wow. highly encouraging. I like the confidence part is to be built. it’s not something purchased or just happened. but that it is steps.
thank you
Yes! Keep taking the steps each and every day! We are so glad that you found this encouraging, Angela 🙂
Thank you for presenting this information and sharing the scripture. I never have thought about loving myself in order to better love my neighbor. This is powerful!
It is so powerful, and we are glad you learned this today Beverly 🙂
Thank you for your inspiration Ruth and Kayce!
Reviving my soul…so important to know what God‘s purpose is for me on a daily basis.
You’re welcome Margita! You’re right – knowing what God’s purpose is on a daily basis is so important 🙂

Yep, it is so easy to be too concerned about what other people think, and not what God thinks of us.
This was a great video! I think I’m missing day 1 though? This was the mind and day 1 was the soul. Right?
